Police are searching for a man who punched a 63-year-old woman in the face inside a Kew Gardens subway station Wednesday.
The suspect approached the woman who was standing on the platform at the Kew Gardens–Union Turnpike station at around 8:30 p.m. before striking her in the face, according to police.
The man then fled the station on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
The victim suffered facial fractures from the blow and was transported by EMS to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital with her injuries.
Police released CCTV footage of the suspect immediately after the incident.
