Police from the 105th Precinct in Queens Village responded to a report of the incident that went down at around 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 10, when the suspect knocked on their guest room door at the Casa Azul Hotel, located at 220-16 Jamaica Ave. A 42-year-old woman opened the door and the assailant forced his way inside the guest room, according to authorities. The two crooks were caught on camera as they cased the joint near the intersection of 93rd Avenue and 217th Street just before 6 p.m. The two men attempted to enter the residence but were thwarted from gaining entry and ran off empty-handed southbound on 217th Street toward Jamaica Avenue, police said.
