Nov. 3, 2023 By Iryna Shkurhan On Halloween morning, when the temperature was hovering around 40 degrees, 911 calls reporting a dog drowning in Baisley Pond in Jamaica were relayed to local police.  Two officers from the 113th Precinct, which covers southeastern Queens, responded to the incident at 8:30 a.m. and successfully rescued Sparky, the 8-year old Border Collie. Two men sought in armed robbery at South Ozone Park T-Mobile store: NYPD

Nov. 3, 2023 By Bill Parry A T-Mobile store located near the Van Wyck Expressway in South Ozone Park was robbed at gunpoint in October and police from the 106th Precinct are still searching for two men who allegedly pulled off the heist. Police reported that, at around 6:20 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, a 23-year-old man was working in the corner storefront at 134-11 Rockaway Blvd. when two unidentified men entered the shop.
