Watch: Man Traps Woman Inside Rego Park Subway Station Takes Her Wallet: NYPD

Suspect and 63 Drive-Rego Park station

A 26-year-old woman was pinned inside a subway turnstile in Rego Park Tuesday by a man who grabbed her wallet during a struggle, police said.

The victim was walking through a full-height security turnstile at around 11:40 a.m. at the 63 Drive Rego Park station when a man grabbed her and trapped her inside.

The woman resisted and fought back and during the struggle the suspect snatched her wallet from her hand.

The man then fled the subway station. The victim was not injured.
