Woman Shot in Woodside Wednesday: NYPD

A 36-year-old woman was shot in Woodside early Wednesday morning.

The woman was shot in the foot while standing in front of 34-12 57th St. at around 1:56 a.m., according to police.

The woman was driven to New York-Presbyterian/Queens in Flushing and is expected to survive, police said.

Police said the woman was uncooperative and did not provide officers with any details regarding the incident.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
