Police say the three boys threw ice at her, striking her in the face before running out of the station in an unknown direction, police said. Police say the robbery crew entered Red Delicious Deli & Grocery just before midnight when the ringleader pulled out a handgun and demanded cash. A 22-year old store worker and his fellow employee, a 32-year-old man, complied and the robbers left with $12,000 in cash and MetroCards, police said. At the same time, grand larceny has been on the decline. Felony assaults were up 16.5% in northern Queens for the year through Nov. 12, rising from 2,184 in 2022 to 2,544 in 2023.
