Police from the 107th Precinct and Transit District 20 are looking for a suspect who approached the 45-year man as he stood on the platform of the Jamaica-179th Street station on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 21. Nov. 7, 2023 By Bill Parry A Middle Village man was arrested Sunday and booked at the 104th Precinct in Ridgewood in connection with two forcible touching incidents early last month, according to the NYPD. David Perez, 33, of 79th Street, was taken into custody on Nov. 5 for targeting women in two different police precincts on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Nov. 3, 2023 By Iryna Shkurhan On Halloween morning, when the temperature was hovering around 40 degrees, 911 calls reporting a dog drowning in Baisley Pond in Jamaica were relayed to local police.  Two officers from the 113th Precinct, which covers southeastern Queens, responded to the incident at 8:30 a.m. and successfully rescued Sparky, the 8-year old Border Collie.
