Thief steals more than $10K worth of tools from Maspeth shed: NYPD

Police from the 104th Precinct are searching for the thief who stole more than $10,000 worth of tools from a shed in Maspeth earlier this month.

Police say that an unidentified male suspect approached a shed behind 60-90 Eliot Ave. at approximately 1:30 a.m. on April 14. The thief used scissors to break the lock to the shed and snatched a generator, diagnostic scanner, air compressor, power probe tester, hammer and other tools before fleeing the scene.

The value of the stolen tools is worth $10,730, according to authorities.
