Two men were stabbed outside a bar in Bayside early Saturday, according to police.

The two victims, aged 20 and 22, were stabbed at around 4:45 a.m. after getting into a dispute with a man over a woman at the bar. The stabbing took place outside Hatfields sports bar, located at 40-05 Bell Blvd., according to published reports.

The two men had struck up a conversation with the woman before the unidentified suspect became enraged and attacked the victims, police said.

The suspect then stabbed the 20-year-old man in the stomach and the 22-year-old in the shoulder, police said.

The assailant then fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to police.

Around 15 minutes later police responded to a 911 call of the two stabbed men located about a mile and a half away on the side of the Long Island Expressway. Police say the victims were traveling westbound in a vehicle when they pulled over on the LIE, before exit 27, and asked a construction worker for help.

EMS then responded to the scene and transported the victims to New York Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.

Police described the suspect as white, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. It is unclear whether the victims know the suspect.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
